Based in rural Cheshire, the company had been experiencing sub-par connectivity as a result of utilising multiple residential-style internet connections installed by a previous supplier. Having joined Trusted IT as a manged service client, Style Matters asked us to deliver an improved solution to increase upload and download speed as well as providing bandwidth to support a growing user base, connect remote sites and ensure the functionality of a hosted telephone SIP solution to help reduce costs and facilitate more remote working.
We undertook a thorough review of the existing system to understand the options available to move forward and ensure that any investment was justified in the short term. We also discussed expectations for the business in the medium to longer term with senior decision makers within Style Matters, to confirm that any potential solutions would be future-ready.
Our recommended solution was the introduction of a managed leased line – providing high speed, commercial specification fibre-optics directly to the client premises.
We worked directly with Openreach over the course of several months to ensure that the solution specified and delivered provided the necessary speed and reliability.
Installation was carried out by Openreach, with Trusted IT acting as the liaison throughout. This commercial solution includes a range of reliability features including a 4-hour service level agreement on any downtime.
