Having completed his apprenticeship with another IT company, Ethan found he was not progressing as fast as he wanted. He then moved to our Help Desk and has excelled ever since.

Having a long standing career in Tech, Howard brings a wealth of knowledge and faulting finding to our team.

Greg has over a decade of experience in computer repairs, IT support and engineering and worked successfully as a standalone contractor for several years before joining Trusted IT. Here he acts as a field engineer, including visiting customer sites to resolve issues that cannot be solved remotely, network infrastructure design, installation and setup and ensuring the efficient management of projects. 

Outside of work, Greg enjoys hiking, cycling and music. He plays piano and guitar. Greg is also a self confessed hoarder of old IT equipment, with a house like a museum, full of old Atari and Acorn equipment.

Susan is responsible for the day to day running of the office, dealing with admin to keep the business running smoothly.

Ben’s main responsibility is to ensure the helpdesk runs smoothly, and he has spent ten years in the MSP industry in various technical and management roles.

Having studied IT in school, Zach came straight to Trusted IT to get real hands-on experience in the professional environment. He brings several years of experience and is familiar with many clients’ systems, with a natural ability to troubleshoot problems remotely with little to no disturbance to the end user.

Outside of work, Zach enjoys playing the piano – you might even say that he plays two types of keyboards. Making bad jokes is another one of his hobbies.

Tim is the founder and Managing Director of Trusted IT, bringing decades of experience to the role. He remains heavily involved in the daily running of the business, including personally undertaking maintenance for several clients on our proactive support package.

Tim has always been interested in engineering and technology, always taking things apart to see how they worked – the only things on his Christmas list at the age of 12 were a soldering iron and wire cutters. Following high school and several work placements in engineering and electronics calibration, he attended Bristol’s University of the West of England, where he studied Electronic Engineering.

Specialising in Digital Systems and Software, he began his career with a placement at a software company, where he spent around a decade working writing Windows-based programs for x-ray spectrometry software and remote control systems.  This work took him all over the world, before in 1995 he decided to to start his own ecommerce company specialising in consumer electronics and software. He also took on freelance IT consultancy work, and following a number of successful contracts with repeat clients he formed Trusted IT in 2007.

Since then, the company has grown beyond expectation, and Tim’s wide ranging experience both as an IT expert and a business owner means he is perfectly placed to work with startups, SMEs and larger corporations alike. Tim’s specialisms include disaster recovery and business continuity, network design and installation, point to point connectivity and offsite maintenance solutions.

With around 30 years in the industry, Steve deals with escalated support incidents and projects for larger clients. Technology has always been an important part of his life, and he likes to spend his spare time working with tech and exploring new developments.
